It was a fluffy kind of thing that didn’t do well, but thankfully he came on back and blew us away with some of the best films I have ever seen.

It came out right after "When Harry Met Sally" (with Meg Ryan) and "Big" with Tom Hanks. So everyone expected this to be a magical pairing of these two. But it wasn’t very "magical" for me. I think everyone’s expectations were so high. Perhaps that’s why when they made "Sleepless in Seattle" together a few years later, it was such a surprise hit.

Casablanca (1942) IMDB rating: 8.80 Plot: During World War II, Europeans who were fleeing from the Germans, sought refuge in America. But to get there they would first have to go Casablanca and once they get there, they have to obtain exit visas which are not very easy to come by. Now the hottest spot in all of Casablanca is Rick’s Cafe which is operated by Rick Blaine, an American expatriate, who for some reason can’t return there, and he is also extremely cynical. Now it seems that two German couriers were killed and the documents they were carrying were taken. Now one of Rick’s regulars, Ugarte entrusts to him some letters of transit, which he intends to sell but before he does he is arrested for killing the couriers. Captain Renault, the Chief of Police, who is neutral in his political views, informs Rick that Victor Laszlo, the European Resistance leader, is in Casablanca and will do anything to get an exit visa but Renault has been “told” by Major Strasser of the SS, to keep Laszlo in Casablanca. Laszlo goes to Rick’s to meet Ugarte, because he was the one Ugarte was going to sell the letters to. But since Ugarte was arrested he has to find another way. Accompanying him is Ilsa Lund, who knew Rick when he was in Paris, and when they meet some of Rick’s old wounds reopen. It is obvious that Rick’s stone heart was because of her leaving him. And when they learn that Rick has the letters, he refuses to give them to him, because “he doesn’t stick his neck out for anyone”.

wedding flowers which way?
so we put our deposit down but she hasn’t ordered the flowers since we are still 8 mths out. i ordered white roses and white casablanca Lily’s now that im considering putting my maid of honor in brown or black dress(only one person on each side of bridal party) im thinking red roses for her and the boutonnieres and corsages and red roses with white casablanca Lily’s for my bouquet .

I don’t think red will work with the peacock feathers. I would stick one of the following:

1) Go with the white colors you are using with the peacock feathers.
2) Add in blue or purple flowers to go with the white flowers and peacock feathers.
3) Go with a red and white bouquet mix without the peacock feathers.

It may be time to consider moving on.

Considering he’s placing ads on craigslist soliciting for relationships outside the marriage, he’s made it clear that his interests are lying elsewhere.

Believe me. You are right in how you feel, and you ARE NOT crazy! His complete disregard of your feelings and monetary well-being goes beyond being a "Kid at Heart" and straight to completely self-centered. Where he’s from does not entitle him to attempt adultery and betray the sanctity of marriage, nor does it make it okay for him to spend money he shouldn’t and put to risk whether or not you’ll be able to feed the family.

The likelihood of him changing his ways are slim to none so you should start thinking about whether or not a continued relationship with him is going to be healthy for you, and most importantly, for your daughter. I can say from personal experience that parents you love dearly screaming and yelling at one another is extremely frightening and damaging emotionally, no matter how old you are. If you don’t show her what a good relationship looks like, and what to do if it isn’t any good, who will? You need to take charge and do the right thing for the sake of both you and your child.

Divorce isn’t easy, I just finished with one myself, it’ll feel awful for a while, sometimes you may even wonder how to get through the day. But given time, you’ll thank yourself for it, maybe even think "Ex-husband who?"

Ask yourself this: How am I benefiting from this marriage? Right now it doesn’t seem like either of you are getting anything out of being married. It doesn’t sound like you’re happy at all. If you want something different in the future than he does then you probably shouldn’t be together.

To me, you should’ve left him the first time he was unfaithful to you. He obviously doesn’t respect you if he calls you names and treats you the way he does. You need to have enough self respect for yourself and decide that you’re not going to let yourself be treated this way anymore. If you stand up for yourself then he, and everyone else, will respect you more too.

Wondering the name of a band.?
First off Im about to be rather vague. I know of two songs from them, problem is i dont know the name of the songs or that much of their chorus’s, but here i go. One song is featured in Van Wilder 2 rise of Taj, the scene where they are partying before Taj’s family arives. When it starts it is playing a song, the chorus says something like "F–k so good…" and so on. The next song is featured in Saints Row 2, and i guess its about some guy drinking beer to get his confidence up to go hit on some chick. Part of the song say "My confidence is rising…". Sorry to be so vague but if you know the band then please post and thanks.

Good Intense Movie Idea?
A movie where the characters(6 or 7) come across a place with a bad reputation(ghost stories or missing person reports), and it’s big enough to get lost in, like a rustic northern forest. And then at some point, an accident happens which leaves them scared and paranoid, remembering the stories they heard… then, whether by supernatural forces or simply the night combined with the shadows cast by tall pine trees in the forest, it becomes so dark that without the dim blue light from the stars it would be impossible to see(no moon). Leaving the characters lost with only 1, maybe 2 flashlights which eventually go dead.
After deciding they should go back home, they become separated/lost and end up in pairs or on their own.
Then, due to the lack of light and being unable to distinguish whether they are going in circles or not, they slowly begin to lose their minds and their grasp on reality, and then a couple of characters get lost from their small groups and end up dying from "natural" causes(falling off a cliff, being hit by a falling tree limb, or maybe even killed by another lost and panicking person who mistook them for an animal or "ghost"). Leaving the other characters wondering where they had gone, and maybe worried because of a scream they heard through the trees.

Eventually, 1 or 2 of them make it out of the forest alive, but still scared because of the mind games played on them by the dark forest(maybe they think they saw something or heard something related to the stories they’d heard, when in reality it was only a bush they saw or and animal they heard).

This movie would show how people can become so scared when they cannot gain control over anything… and because this movie would be filmed VERY dark, the audience would only be able to see slightly better than the characters. Thus giving the audience the feeling of confusion just like the characters in the movie.

I can picture the commercial being like "What do you see?……………. When you can’t see anything?".. the title would probably be called Dark or Black or something.
