Lethal Weapon (1987)

Plot: Los Angeles police sergeant Roger Murtaugh, who has just turned 50 years old, is assigned to investigate the death of Amanda Hunsaker, a prostitute who is one of the daughters of bank president Michael Hunsaker, a friend whom Roger has known since they were in the Vietnam War together, but Roger hasn’t seen Michael in 12 years. Beginning with this investigation, Roger is assigned a new partner Sergeant Martin Riggs, who has been suicidal ever since his wife Victoria “Vicky” Lynn Riggs died in a car crash in 1984. Riggs and Murtaugh’s investigation of Amanda’s death reveals that she was murdered. Upon hearing of this, Michael tells Murtaugh that he would like for whoever is behind Amanda’s murder to end up dead, like Amanda. Riggs and Murtaugh’s investigation continues and it makes them the targets of Shadow Company, a group of former Vietnam War era mercenaries who now bring heroin into the Los Angeles County region. Shadow Company’s leader, General Peter McAllister, and his right hand man, Mr. Joshua, want Riggs and Murtaugh dead, no matter what the cost.

Twin Daggers (2008)

Plot: In the 1930s a famous Los Angeles underworld hitman Scholar (Rhett Giles) and a band of trained assassins are hired by the exotic and beautiful Kay (Coco Su) to avenge her parents; death by the hands of her equally stunning twin sister. Traveling to Shanghai Scholar finds the twin sister Sue (Coco Su) has taken over the family fortunes and lifestyle. He finds himself falling for his target. Instead of killing her he chooses to save her from his fellow assassins (Veronica Bero Joey Covington Vasilios Elovalis) by taking them out one-by-one. Torn between his commitment to his paying client and his romantic feelings for her sister Scholar enters into a dangerous liaison with both unable to trust either one and unable to let them go…

King Kong vs. Godzilla (1962)

Plot: Mr. Tako, the producer of a low rated television show called “Mysteries of the World”, decides his show needs some spicing up. So he sends two of his staff, Osamu Sakurai and Kinsaburo Furue, to Pharoh Island to bring back some berries, called soma, noted for their non-addictive narcotic effect. He also wants the two to bring back proof of a giant ape named King Kong. Before the pair leave, Osamu stops by his sister Fumiko’s apartment for dinner with her and her boyfriend, Kazuo Fujita. During his visit, Kazuo shows the two his new invention, a wire that is stronger than steel. In the meantime, a submarine collides with an iceberg releasing Godzilla, who was trapped there seven years earlier. When Osamu and Kinsaburo arrive at Pharoh, they not only find the berries but the giant ape. After a battle with a giant octopus, Kong drinks the juice that is made from the berries and falls asleep. While he is sleeping, the pair tie him to a raft and take him back to Japan. In the meantime, Godzilla is rampaging throughout the Japanese countryside. While in route to Japan, Kong breaks free and swims toward Japan and inevitably on a collision course with Godzilla.

Double Team (1997)

Plot: Having retiring from the CIA, where he was an anti-terrorist operative, Jack Paul Quinn spends his days poolside at his house in Nice, France with his pregnant wife Katherine Rose Quinn. But international terrorist Stavros, an old enemy of Quinn’s, has resurfaced, and the CIA wants Quinn to come out of retirement, and go after Stavros. Quinn reluctantly accepts the assignment. Quinn goes to Antwerp, Belgium and hooks up with flamboyant arms dealer Yaz, who has the newest fully-automatic weapons. With Quinn’s assembled delta-force, an ambush is set for Stavros at a local amusement park. Stavros arrives, and greets his girlfriend…and his son. Quinn finds himself unable to shoot Stavros with his son. This moment of hesitation is costly, and Quinn’s entire team is killed off in a shoot-out with Stavros’ men — a shoot-out in which Stavros’s son and girlfriend are both killed. Quinn chases Stavros into a nearby hospital, and they battle it out in a nursery full of newborn babies. Quinn is knocked out cold, and Stavros escapes, vowing revenge on Quinn for the deaths of his son and girlfriend, not knowing that Quinn was not the agent who killed them. When Quinn comes to, he finds himself in “The Colony,” a place where “those who are too valuable to kill and too dangerous to set free” use their special skills around the world as “the last line of defense against global terrorism.” Using virtual reality and mouseless-graphical-user-interfaces, they solve all the world’s bombings, hijackings, and terrorist attacks. The only problem is that no one can ever leave The Colony. That’s why Quinn’s superiors tell Katherine that Quinn is dead. Not long after his arrival, Quinn finds evidence that Katherine is being targeted by Stavros, and so Quinn hatches an elaborate plan to escape from the Colony so he can protect Katherine. Once out of The Colony, Quinn hooks up with Yaz, and they learn that Stavros has kidnapped Katherine and taken her to Rome, planning to get revenge on Quinn through the baby, which Katherine has given birth to. Quinn and Yaz set out for Rome to rescue Katherine. It all comes to a head in a Roman coliseum in a showdown featuring a tiger, land mines…and the baby.

Mystery Men (1999)

Plot: In Champion City, would be superheroes like The Shoveler, The Blue Raja and Mr. Furious can’t seem to make a difference and impress either the city or its greatest superhero, Captain Amazing. However, when Captain Amazing is captured by his greatest enemy, Cassanova Frankenstein, these stumblebum heroes must join with other superhero hopefuls to save the Captain and the city.

Boa vs. Python (2004)

An FBI agent and a snake specialist come up with a plot to combat the creature by pitting it against a bioengineered, 70-foot boa constrictor. It’s two great snakes that snake great together!
